Like many developing countries, in Bangladesh people who live in slums suffer occasionally from different types of intestinal diseases Proper hygiene and frequent hand washing help in the prevention of these communicable diseases but this daily habit needs to be engrained in everyone in order to have better hygiene and health.  Hand washing as a MUST in proper hygiene on a daily basis.  This is a critical key factor in the prevention of intestinal diseases.  To promote proper hygiene in slum areas, Clubs under D345 work directly with families as a Campaign. Members demonstrated proper ways to wash hands and explained the necessity of practicing hand washing as a MUST. Free soap was distributed as an encouragement to these families to get started on proper hygiene to prevent diseases.

Let’s all spread these habits in the communities where hygiene is a factor in the transmission of disease.
